Issue of Amendments to Law “On Citizenship of Azerbaijan Republic” and Conformity to the Constitution Thereof

Summary
The article is about the conflict arose between provisions of Constitution and recent changes to the “Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan”. The methods of acquisition of citizenship, the reflection of conformity of the principles of acquisition of citizenship as “right of the blood” and “right of the soil”, and new grounds of loss of citizenship is taken place in the article. There is a comparative analyses of these problems in legislation of various countries, international documents.
