This article is about important topic for now days to our country’s legal system, which is compensation for moral damage. Criteria for determining compensation of moral damages were analyzed at the same time. Comparative analysis of theories about the amount, principles of moral compensation and judicial experience, court decisions for local and foreign countries (e.g. Switzerland, Turkey) are provided. One of the factors that affect the evaluation of moral compensation is identified as current purchasing power of money.
