Abstract
The issue of the status of international agreements including the European Convention on Human Rights has always been controversial all over the world. The European Court of Human Rights is a court established in the frame of the European Convention on Human Rights which is also ratified by Azerbaijan. Therefore, the European Human Rights Convention and European Human Rights Court and the place and applicability of international law are examined in this context. Collisions between international human rights norms and domestic law preserve their actuality. In the article, these collisions were analyzed in detail and recommendations were put forward.
