L.Rev. 23 (2015)<\/cite>\n<br>\n<cite>Article language: Azerbaijani.<\/cite>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><strong><em>Summary<br><\/em><\/strong><em>This article is dedicated to the research of one of the 10 core principles of the international law &#8211; the &#8220;self-determination&#8221; principle. The goal of this article is to eliminate all uncertainties emanating from implementation of the abovementioned principle. Being one of the topical and contentious issues of international law, the principle of self-determination, its internal and external aspects, limits and frameworks it can be used within, and its context have been revealed&nbsp;throughout the article, terms &#8220;nation, nationality and ethnic minority&#8221; have been differentiated in the end. It is noted that this principle is adhered to nations only. The following ideas contain the cornerstone of the article: principle of self-determination is extended to nations under colonial suppression; implementation of the principle should not lead to separatism; recognition of the correlation of the mentioned principle with other ones within international law.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/bsu-lr-vol1-asgarov.pdf\">Download: PDF<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1 Baku St. U.
