L.Rev. 62 (2015)<\/cite>\n<br>\n<cite>Article language: Azerbaijani.<\/cite>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><br>In this article the philosophical approaches were explored on which the criminal\u00a0responsibility is based and the definitions of the crime which were given in different theories\u00a0were compared with the definition in our Criminal Code. Considering that the person who\u00a0committed a crime will get a punishment, theoretical thoughts about the aims of\u00a0punishment, its role in the criminalization process and the distinctive features of the\u00a0criminal law were investigated here.
