L.Rev. 149 (2018)<\/cite>\n<br>\n<cite>Article language: English.<\/cite>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Natural law \u201cmanifests as a duty the natural demands of man\u2019s being, which are summed up, in short, in obtaining his natural ends.\u201d These ends are the fulfillment of natural inclinations, i.e., the inclination towards preserving one\u2019s life, the inclination towards the \u201cconjugal union of man and woman,\u201d the inclination towards union with God, the inclinations towards \u201cpolitical society\u201d and association, and the inclination towards knowledge. Thus, the fulfillment of the inclination to preserve one\u2019s life is to preserve one\u2019s life. Natural law is a then a rational rule of natural inclinations that (1) prescribes that these inclinations need to be fulfilled, and (2) indicates the measures necessary to fulfill these inclinations. Human nature is not then static, but dynamic\u2014a constant striving after the fulfillment of man\u2019s inclinations, and ultimately, a striving after man\u2019s ultimate end, God himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"\/files\/archive\/volume4\/issue2\/4BSULawRev.2.2..pdf\">Download: PDF<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>4 Baku St. U.
